* As part of our interdisciplinary team, you support the development of embedded C/C++ firmware for microcontroller units (MCUs) and digital signal processors (DSPs) used in power conversion systems for future energy applications.
* You contribute to software development for connectivity features (e.g., Modbus, CAN, UART, Ethernet, cloud APIs).
* You participate in testing, debugging, and validation of firmware and hardware-in-the-loop simulations.
* You support documentation, version control, and code reviews as part of the development process.
* You collaborate closely with hardware engineers and senior developers on project design and implementation.
Your qualifications as an Ingenious Partner:
* HTL or bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering, Embedded Systems, or a related field.
* Familiarity with C/C++ programming for embedded systems
* Exposure to microcontrollers, real-time systems, or digital signal processing (school or project experience welcome)
* Basic understanding of power electronics or control systems is a plus (but not required)
* Experience with tools such as Git, Python, RTOS, HIL is a preferable.
* Eagerness to learn and a team-player attitude
* Good communication skills in German or English
What to expect:
* The minimum gross annual salary on a full-time basis (38,5 h / week) according to the collective agreement is EUR 46.592,--. The actual salary will be determined individually, based on your qualifications and experience. In addition, we offer company benefits, flexible working conditions (incl. Home-Office) and individual training and career opportunities.
